The inefficiency and limitations of traditional workforce management practices. A Personalized Touch
This was a multifaceted project that involved product definition, product design, prototype creation and, ultimately naming. Since the target is made up of 20 something service industry workers, the UI had to appeal to a younger generation. We brought in an element of user personalization in the form of funky 3D style avatars. These personalized icons conveyed a sense of community and sociability.
Task management
Dex World allows you to create and assign tasks to your employees. You can also track the progress of tasks and see who is responsible for each task.
Control and faults center
Dex World provides businesses with a variety of reports that can be used to track the progress of their operations. Reports can be customized to meet the specific needs of each business.
Communication
Dex World provides a communication channel between employees and managers. You can use Dex World to send messages, photos, and videos.
Scale up
At the end of the designs for the mobile format, I was asked by the client to design the screens for the iPad as well,the challenges were:
- Adapt the design to the large display area
- Different behavior patterns on the iPad
- Adopting a responsive design approach becomes crucial to ensure that the designs adapt gracefully to different screen sizes, orientations, and resolutions
- Maintaining hierarchy while several areas appear on the screen and can cause crowding
- Consistency across Apple and Android devices and maintaining accessibility considerations are vital to provide a seamless experience and accommodate users with different abilities.
